Greywater and rebates
Keep your garden green all year.
For so many people, a lush, beautiful green garden is a source of pride
… a way to help beautify our community … and it’s often a significant investment in the value of their home.
This is especially true in out local area. But with the water situation in Victoria many people are naturally concerned that their gardens are
going to dry, and die.
Schultz Plumbing has worked in the Yarra Valley area for years. So if
there’s one thing we know about, it’s the local conditions for our
gardens and lawns.
Grey water comes from showers, baths, spas, hand basins, washing machines, laundry troughs, dishwaters and kitchen sinks (excluding
water from toilets). Options for diverting greywater vary from the use
of buckets, to fully automated systems – for example, a Greymate
system captures your greywater and then automatically disperses it
onto your garden.
How much will it cost?
Installing a Greymate or Wattworks is great value, especially when you consider government rebates, decreased water bills and the value of the garden and plants you can now save. Typical pre-rebate installation starts at around $1,500, but you’ll get a $500 rebate when you install.
